My name is Skyler Kanegi, and I want to change the world through innovation, because just volunteering and donating to charities is not enough. The world needs agents of change, people with the passion to create new solutions for pressing social issues and work intelligently to implement them. By starting the change engine, I hope to inspire other agents of change and collaborate with them to create a better world.

Art/Culture

Art represents a society's identity and expression. Without it, we lose the voice of the people, the soul and flavor of eras, icons, and most importantly the people behind them. It is paramount to preserve art for the sake of individual expression, which gives us insight into how people think, feel, and live. It allows us to open our minds and understand our world with a depth beyond our own perspectives.

I am committed to raising public awareness for individual expression on every level, whether through traditional art forms or new media. By creating opportunities for artists of all types, we can both enrich society and champion the individual's right to express and be heard. Ultimately this gives us an opportunity to recognize the value and autonomy of every human being.
